ESPC accepts requests for four types of funding. Information on how to apply for each of these can be found below along with the criteria for potential applicants.

Full Scale Project Application

Full Application Timeline

  • Full scale projects can be awarded anywhere from $500-$5,000 in funding. 

  • Funding for projects is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

  • The first step to applying for full scale funding is to fill out the expression of interest form.

  • Once complete, proceed with the steps listed here to obtain full funding for your project!

  • Neither companies nor individuals may profit from any project funded by ESPC.

Expedited Project Application

Expedited Application

  • The expedited project application is intended for initiatives requiring $500 or less in funding.

  • This application provides a "fast track" for smaller initiatives that do not require the same financial support that larger-scale projects do.

  • To begin, first fill out the expression of interest form, and then proceed by following the steps listed here.

  • Neither companies nor individuals may profit from any project funded by ESPC.

Sustainable Food Application

Sustainable Food Requests Process

  • ESPC provides the opportunity to fund sustainable dining options for your events. These include: the purchase  of compostable serviceware, or sustainable waste disposal as well as local, organic, cruelty free, or fair trade food.

  • The College of Charleston's official food provider is ARAMARK, so any request for sustainable catering approved through ESPC will be carried out through their services.

  • The first step for requesting sustainable catering is to fill out the expression of interest form

  • Once complete, fill out the Sustainable Food Form below.

  • Neither companies nor individuals may profit from any project funded by ESPC.

 


Speaker Requests

  • The Eccollective Student Project Committee provides opportunities to fund requests to bring speakers to campus

  • ESPC is limited to 2-3 large speaker request per year. Funding is based on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority is given to organizations requesting fundingthat have not been funded in the past year.

  • To encourage diversity on campus, priority is also given to topics that have not been covered by past funding or are otherwise underrepresented. 

  • The first step to submitting a speaker request is to fill out the expression of interest form.

  • After finalizing the details with an ESPC representative, follow all additional steps for a full scale project application to complete your speaker request.
