Sustainability Week 2019

SW Header

Mark your calendars for April 8th - 12th 2019! The College of Charleston’s Office of Sustainability and Sustainability Literacy Institute are hosting a week of events to mirror the five pillars of sustainability: Personal, Social, Political, Economic, and Environmental Sustainability. Sustainability is more than just recycling and ongoing consumerism; it touches every facet of our lives. To uplift the multifaceted complexities, the College of Charleston selects a theme each year to focus its goals of becoming more Sustainably Literate. The theme for 2018-2019 is Social Justice and Fair Distribution. Join us this week to explore how equity, fairness, justice, and equality are central to resilient sustainable systems through our various partnered events.
